Our adept staff is capable of providing qualitative fit testing to all required personnel. Qualitative fit testing is an efficient method to bring a high volume of employees under compliance to your OSHA Respiratory Protection Program. We provide this service especially in the healthcare industry in which large amounts of staff are
required to comply with a
Respiratory Protection Program applied to Aerosol Transmissible Diseases.
For respirators that require a fit factor of 500 or above in accordance to the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard, we provide quantitative fit testing. This method allows to quantitatively measure the respirator facepiece seal for assessment and assurance to each employee individually. We provide this service in the public service sector, law enforcement, biotechnology,
manufacturing, healthcare, and other
industries.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION TRAINING
In compliance to the OSHA Respiratory Protection regulation, our staff provides compliant and comprehensive training in all respiratory protection systems. This includes Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (PAPRs) along with reusable elastomeric air-purifying respirators and disposable respirators. SELECTION OF RESPIRATORS
If there is uncertainty about what to use for an occupational hazard that exists in your workplace, we can provide assistance in selecting the appropriate respirators. Our staff is OSHA 2225 certified and is experienced in working with occupational airborne hazards.
MEDICAL EVALUATION
The OSHA Respiratory Protection regulation requires medical evaluation to use respirators at a workplace. No need to go to an outsourced occupational health clinic. We have a Professionally Licensed Health Care Practitioner (PLHCP) in our company to provide the required medical clearance.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Our administrative staff is vastly experienced in assisting companies with their Respiratory Protection Programs. We keep track of every employee that has undergone training and fit testing with BSE. Other logistic support services include scheduling, notifying managers, creating personnel databases, filing, and recordkeeping. We can tailor our logistical support to fit your needs.

Thomas A. Salas, M.S., C.S.P.
Founder
Breathe Safe Environmental was founded by Mr. Thomas A. Salas in June of 2003.
Mr. Salas has work professionally in Industrial Hygiene and Safety for 15 years with Companies such as Pacific Bell, Teledyne Electronics and ATC. He earned a Masters Degree from the University of Southern California in Industrial Hygiene. He is a Certified Safety Professional and a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
